2021 Update
With continued senior center shutdowns and social distancing, televëda is still on a mission to mitigate the effect the COVID-19 pandemic is having on senior centers and communities. As a social venture, we are committed to working with amazing organizations, nonprofits, and other social enterprises to share the best of our collective humanitarian experiences.
We understand it's not about classes, it's about community. For many older adults in America, the majority of their socialization is facilitated through their senior centers. Being shut down is a moral and social hazard compounding the effects of social isolation.
If you are a nonprofit organization or a public senior center that serves low-income members and has been shut down due to COVID-19 restrictions, please contact us through this form so we can get your organization onboarded for free and help with continuity of social services. We can register up to ~20 of your members on our platform, and get all of this done in less than 24 hours.
If you’re a larger or national organization, please still reach out here so we can work together to create a solution for your members or residents.
Social distancing doesn’t mean the need for socialization has changed. Together, we can make our community stronger.
