televëda is honored and privileged to be recognized by the Pakis Center for Business Philanthropy at the Arizona Community Foundation for our response to the COVID-19 virus to tackle social isolation for the elderly quarantined in nursing homes. The event was hosted by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
More than 40 Greater Phoenix-based nonprofits and early-stage startups entered the competition, in which televëda was adjudged as the winner unanimously.
Judges for the contest were: Ji Mi Choi, associate vice president of Knowledge Enterprise at Arizona State University; Brandon Clarke, co-founder and CEO, StartupAZ Foundation; and Fred Pakis, chairman of the Pakis Center for Business Philanthropy, Arizona Community Foundation.
