Record Breaking Event

BingoPalooza is one of Televeda's signature events. During this year's BingoPalooza, the world record was set for number of attendees. This is a part ofTeleveda's program "Beyond Walls"- bringing its online events in person to communities. The BingoPalooza event streams the Bingo game live while in person volunteers help participants in person.

Through our streaming technology, the record for most concurrent online viewers was set at 1556. But what was even more amazing was the in-person attendees who weren’t even part of the record count. There were over 125 centers who played in-person with over 7000 print cards sent over. There were around 3,000 digital cards with online players from 29 countries.

Why Hybrid?

A hybrid bingo game allows us to bridge the digital divide. Players that aren’t comfortable with technology can play bingo like they’re used to with printed cards, physical chips, etc. The goal of this program (in alignment with Televeda's mission) is to bring communities together and decrease isolation to improve health.
